I have personally bought several CDs from CDnow and have been very happy with them.  Their service and selection is great.

I once made an order from them and one of the items never arrived. They were kind enough to send me another copy at no charge. I can't say for sure, but I would wager that the US Postal Service was responsible for that one. Anyway, it certainly beats the local CD junk store at the local mall, where I'm lucky to find anything more than the latest top 40 or a single CD by my favorite artists.
